Chalcorana chalconota is a true frog in the family Ranidae, endemic to Indonesia and occurring in southern Sumatra, Java, Bali and a few smaller islands. Populations previously assigned to this species now belong to other Chalcorana species, so its range is now much narrower. It is also known as Schlegel's frog or the brown stream frog. Males measure 34–50 mm and females 49–73 mm in snout–vent length, and it is green, sometimes with black spots (Wikipedia, general species account).
