Manthey's forest dragon is a rare agamid lizard known from a stream beside the Sikulikap Waterfall near Berastagi in North Sumatra, at about 1,200 m. It lays eggs. The name comes from the Latin for full of holes, after the gaps between the scales of the dorsal crest (Reptile Database, general species account).
