The yellow-rumped flycatcher, also known as the Korean or tricolor flycatcher, is found in eastern Asia. In all plumages the yellow rump is distinctive, and the white eyebrow of the male separates it from the narcissus and green-backed flycatchers. Females and first-year males are olive-grey above with a blackish tail, and some individuals with a yellow eyebrow have been considered hybrids with the narcissus flycatcher (Wikipedia, general species account).
It breeds in eastern Asia including parts of Mongolia, Transbaikal, southern China, Korea and western Japan, and winters in parts of the Malay Peninsula and South Asia. The clutch is four to seven eggs, incubated by the female alone for about 11–12 days, and the young fledge after 14–15 days (Wikipedia, general species account).
