Breeds in the East Palearctic; winters in the tropics
Stejneger's stonechat, also called the Amur stonechat, is a stonechat of the East Palearctic that is treated in different ways by different checklists. The account used here covers the wider Siberian or Asian stonechat group, which breeds in the East Palearctic and winters in the Old World tropics, and gives no separate account of the Amur form, so no species-specific details are stated (Wikipedia, general species account).
