Black Noddy

The black noddy, also known as the white-capped noddy, is a medium-sized seabird in the tern group, with black plumage and a white cap. It closely resembles the lesser noddy, with which it was at one time considered conspecific; it has slightly darker plumage and dark rather than pale lores. The length is 35–37 cm (Wikipedia, general species account).
