The Indonesian serin, also called the mountain serin, is a finch found in Indonesia, in subtropical or tropical moist montane forest and high-altitude grassland. It was formerly placed in the genus Serinus, but a phylogenetic analysis of mitochondrial DNA found it was not closely related to the other serins (Wikipedia, general species account).
