Geokichla sibirica
Habitat
Taiga when breeding
Range
Breeds in Siberia; winters in south-eastern Asia
The Siberian thrush is a very secretive member of the thrush family. It breeds in taiga in Siberia and is strongly migratory, with most birds moving to south-eastern Asia for the winter. It is a very rare vagrant to western Europe. The genus name comes from the Greek for ground thrush, and the specific name is Latin for Siberia (Wikipedia, general species account).
