Endemic to Sumatra; known only from Lubuk Selasi
The Sumatra toad is a toad endemic to Sumatra, known only from Lubuk Selasi. It has been found along a small, clear stream in secondary forest. It is locally common but is listed as critically endangered because of a restricted range and continuing habitat loss, including conversion of habitat into rice paddies, which causes siltation of streams (Wikipedia, general species account).
