Limnonectes macrodon
Habitat
Forested areas near streams; breeds in streams
Range
Endemic to Sumatra and Java
The fanged river frog, also called the Javan giant frog or Malaya wart frog, is a frog in the family Dicroglossidae endemic to Sumatra and Java, Indonesia. Records from other regions are probably caused by misidentifying other species such as Limnonectes blythii. It lives in forested areas near streams and breeds in streams (Wikipedia, general species account).
