Cnemaspis aceh is a tiny rock gecko described in 2017 and known only from the type specimen, a female found in a crevice on a tree trunk by day in primary rainforest at Krueng Teunom in Aceh. It reaches a maximum snout–vent length of 30.7 mm and is most similar to C. dezwaani. It is thought to lay eggs, and is named after Aceh, the northernmost province of Sumatra (Reptile Database, general species account).
